    Metro Mining visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of May 28, Mr. Jianxin Song, China Market Product Manager of Metro Mining Limited, a big bauxite producer in Australia, visited Asian Metal and had a meeting with Mr. Friday Gao, Chief Consultant & Product Director of Asian Metal.
Mr. Song noted that they plan to produce around 4 million tons of bauxite in 2020, up from around 3.5 million tons in 2019. He believed that Chinese demand for imported bauxite will recover soon with COVID-19 under control day by day.
Mr. Gao introduced Chinese bauxite and alumina markets, analyzing that Chinese origin bauxite supply becomes tight again and prices get support.
Metro Mining Limited, a member of Asian Metal for many years, took part in Aluminum Raw Materials Summits held by Asian Metal for many times as a sponsor.
For the safety concern under the current situation, Asian Metal postponed the summit in 2020 and will confirm the date later this year.
