Asian Metal visits SPIC Shanxi
On November 27, Mr. Friday Gao, Senior Product Manager & Consultant of Asian Metal visited SPIC Shanxi, a major alumina producer with annual production capacity of 3 million tonnes. Mr. Gao had meetings with Mr. Huang He, General Manager, Mr. Lihong Wang, Marketing Manager, Mr. Qingbin Sun, Vice Marketing Manager and Mr. Zhiqiang Zhang, Purchase Manager of SPIC Shanxi.
Mr. Gao introduced the global bauxite supply situation and analyzed prices from different countries.
Mr. Huang noted that they started importing bauxite from this August because of the short supply in the local market. To keep safe alumina production, they will continue to import bauxite next year.
Mr. Wang said that Asian Metal provides rich global bauxite information and hopes to cooperate with Asian Metal.
