    Takoradi Bauxite visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of February 20, Mr. Patrick Markey, commercial director of Takoradi Bauxite Export Company, a major bauxite owner in Ghana, visited Asian Metal and talked about the global bauxite market with Mr. Friday Gao, senior analyst of Asian Metal.
According to Mr. Patrick, their bauxite mine has the reserves of around 14 million tonnes, with high grade bauxite Al 50%min Si 2%. Several Chinese consumers show interest in their bauxite. Because of the high grade, the Indonesian bauxite export restart may not affect the demand for bauxite from Ghana.
