Freeport Cobalt visits Asian Metal

On Tuesday, April 19 2016, Sales & Site Manager Dr. Jack Huang, Technology Director Juha Järvi and Sales Manager Kent Huang from Freeport Cobalt Asia Ltd. paid a working visit to Asian Metal and exchanged views on the markets of cobalt as well as its upstream and downstream sectors with Elsa Wang, Senior Analyst and Andrew Zhu, Assistant Analyst from Asian Metal's Beijing office.

China's lithium-ion industry has witnessed a rapid expansion in production over the past two years prompted by the booming new energy vehichel industry. The two parties discussed about the trends of lithium-ion battery cathode material markets and supply-demand status of related raw materials.
